CrownStrategy Inc. (hereinafter collectively referred to as "our company") strongly recognizes that the personal information (excluding personal identification numbers; hereinafter referred to as "personal information") entrusted to us by our customers is their valuable asset, and we believe that protecting personal information is an important social responsibility in our business activities.
We will earn the trust and meet the expectations of our customers by managing personal information appropriately and using it correctly for the intended purpose.
In addition, in accordance with the above basic policy, we are taking the following measures to protect personal information.

Initiatives regarding the Personal Information Protection Act

1. Compliance with laws and regulations

3. Use of personal information

  • When using personal information, we will use it only within the scope of the purpose of use that has been approved by the customer, and will not use it beyond the scope of the purpose of use that has been approved by the customer in advance.
  • In order to provide comprehensive services to our customers, we may share personal information within our group within the scope of the intended use.

4. Safety management measures for personal information

5. Provision of personal information to third parties

  • We will not disclose or provide your personal information to third parties except in the following cases:
    (1) When the customer has given their consent.
    (2) When disclosure or provision is requested by a public institution or other entity in accordance with the provisions of various relevant laws and regulations.
    (3) When it is necessary to protect human life or property and it is difficult to obtain the customer's consent.
    (4) When it is necessary to cooperate with the national or local government in carrying out public affairs, and obtaining the customer's consent may impede the performance of said affairs.
    (5) When providing a customer's personal information to a third party, the following items 1 to 4 will be notified to the customer in advance or made readily available to the customer.

    2. Items of personal information provided to third parties.
    3. Means or methods of provision by third parties.
    4. Upon request of a customer, we will cease providing personal information that identifies that customer to third parties.
    (6) When personal information is disclosed or provided to a third party after being processed so that individuals cannot be identified.
    (7) When providing personal information to the counterparty of the transaction and related parties in connection with business succession due to merger, company split, business transfer, or other reasons.
    In the event that we disclose or provide your personal information to a third party based on (1) to (7) above, we will enter into an agreement with the third party regarding the handling of personal information and take all possible measures to protect the personal information.

6. Disclosure, correction, and suspension of use of personal information

  • If a customer requests the disclosure, correction, or suspension of use of their personal information, we will respond promptly within reasonable and necessary limits through the contact points listed below. (However, there may be certain restrictions or the customer may be required to bear costs.)

7. Review of the Privacy Policy, etc.

  • We will continually review and improve our privacy policy, handling regulations, other related regulations, and safety management system to ensure that they are operated effectively and appropriately on an ongoing basis.

Purpose of use of personal information

  • Our group will use personal information entrusted to us by our customers for the following purposes.
    (1) To promote sales by providing product information, services, lifestyle information, and various discount offers (including by email).
    (2) To process sales services such as orders, reservations, sales processing, repairs and processing, later delivery, delivery, and after-sales service.
    (Please note that this includes cases where we deem it necessary to contact you in connection with the above business processes, such as when an item has been left behind or when delivery cannot be made on the scheduled date.)

Regarding joint use of personal information

  • Even when personal information is jointly used, the Group will use it only within the scope of the above-mentioned purposes.
  • The items of personal information that will be jointly used within our group are as follows:
    (1) Information regarding attributes such as name, gender, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, place of employment, etc.
    (2) Information regarding the contract details and product purchase history, such as the date of joining, the name of the product used, the amount used, and the number of payments.
    (3) Member's point allocation information, usage information, balance information and other point-related information.
    (4) Any other information that you have agreed to share with us.

    When personal information is jointly used within our group, it will be managed responsibly by CrownStrategy Inc. and other group companies.

    Please note that a handling fee of 500 yen will be charged for each request for disclosure of personal information. Please also note that if notification is sent by mail, an additional fee will be charged.
